What was agreed

We purchased and paid for security equipment from Essential Security Supplies, expecting to receive the products we ordered. Instead, the company supplied different products, leaving us with Dahua security cameras that we cannot use.

Consumer’s account

When we raised the problem and requested a return, Essential Security Supplies refused to accept the products back. We have spoken with Bruce Young on numerous occasions to try to resolve the matter. Despite those conversations and promises, the issue remains unresolved.

We are now left out of pocket, holding equipment that does not meet our order or requirements. In our experience, the company has failed to correct its supply error, and repeated follow-ups have produced no satisfactory outcome.

For background, Essential Security Supplies identifies Bruce Young as its director. The Companies Register also lists Bruce Warren Young as a director of the separate company Alliance Wholesale Limited, which entered liquidation on 28 February 2025. This complaint concerns our dealings with Essential Security Supplies.

Attempts to resolve

Called Bruce Young many times, just LIES after LIES. He can't be trusted

Requested resolution

Essential Security Supplies should arrange and pay for the return of the incorrectly supplied equipment and provide a full refund, or supply the products originally ordered at no additional cost. We also want a clear written response and a firm timeframe for completing the resolution.

We are sharing our experience because customers should receive the products they paid for and a practical resolution when the supplier sends the wrong goods.
