Our experience concerned vinyl flooring supplied and installed at a property which subsequently displayed a clearly visible two-tone appearance.
The issue was not simply cosmetic from our perspective. Replacing installed flooring involves removal and reinstatement, disruption to occupants, labour and potentially significant remediation costs. We supplied information concerning replacement and remediation costs and believed the practical consequences of the defect were considerably greater than the outcome ultimately reflected.
